We set up data exchange between your CS-Cart store and external systems: ERP and accounting, CRM, marketplaces, payment gateways and shipping carriers. We look for a ready-made add-on first; anything custom is built as a separate add-on, with no changes to the core.

Systems

What we integrate your store with

Integrations in these eight areas cover almost every request. For each one we have ready-made solutions or hands-on development experience.

ERP and accounting systems

Products, prices, stock by warehouse, orders and customers, exchanged through the system's standard format or a REST API. Exchange errors are reported back to the ERP.

CRM

CRM integration with Bitrix24, amoCRM or RetailCRM: orders and leads land in your sales pipeline with no manual entry, and statuses flow back to the store.

Marketplaces and feeds

Marketplace integration: catalog upload through marketplace APIs, product feeds for ad and listing platforms, marketplace buttons on the product page.

Payment gateways

Payment gateway integration such as Stripe and PayPal, installment and credit payments, invoices for business customers and direct payments to vendors on a marketplace.

Fiscal receipts

Receipts through fiscal services where the law requires them, including the agent model, when a marketplace accepts payment on behalf of its vendors.

Shipping

Shipping carrier and aggregator integration: live rate calculation, pickup points on a map and order transfer to the carrier.

Data and sign-in

Address and company data autocomplete, SMS gateways, sign-in through third-party ID providers and messengers.

API for partners

A REST API for suppliers and partners: product catalog, prices and stock; the CS-Cart API working together with third-party add-ons.

Approach

Ready-made solution or custom development

We check what already exists first: that makes the integration faster and cheaper.

Built into CS-Cart

CS-Cart already ships with PayPal, Stripe and other popular payment gateways, plus real-time shipping rates from UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL. Often configuration is enough, and we will tell you so.

Ready-made add-on

If one of our add-ons already covers the task, you pay only for the license and setup.

Custom development

A non-standard API or your own exchange logic means a separate integration add-on, built to CS-Cart standards with no core changes.

How it works

How an integration with external systems works

Four questions we settle before development starts.

Exchange method

An external API, a standard exchange format, files or webhooks: we choose whatever the service supports most reliably.

When data is sent

Orders and leads go immediately; catalog, prices and stock on a schedule. Large catalogs are sent in batches so the site does not slow down.

Log and errors

We keep an exchange log and alert you to failures: you see an error right away, not when a customer complains.

Service changes

The integration is a separate add-on: if the service changes its API, we update only that add-on and leave the core and the rest of the store alone.

From practice

What we have already integrated

Tasks from our 2023–2026 projects. We do not disclose store names.

Product variants from the ERP

A medical equipment store: when products are imported from the ERP, the site groups them into products with variants on its own, so nobody links product pages by hand.

Stock by warehouse from the ERP

A marketplace with vendor stores in different cities: the ERP passes the fulfilling warehouse, and the customer picks a city and a store and sees only the products in stock there.

Manufacturer catalog on a marketplace

An electrical goods wholesaler: the manufacturer's catalog is uploaded to the marketplace through an API, with no manual product page entry.

Receipts and SMS for a marketplace

A fasteners marketplace: fiscal receipts issued on behalf of vendors under the agent model, and SMS campaigns through a mobile carrier's gateway.

Three shipping carriers

A store shipping nationwide: we extended one carrier's add-on, orders go to the second through its partner API, and the third carrier's pickup points fill in automatically.

Sign-in through a messenger

A B2B tool store: registration and sign-in through a messenger app, with no passwords or SMS.

Process

How an integration project runs

From the service documentation to a working exchange.

01
Task and documentation

We work out which data goes where, study the service API and look for a ready-made solution.

02
Solution and estimate

We describe the exchange scheme, the hours and the cost. Work starts only after you approve.

03
Development on a copy

We build the add-on and test the exchange on a copy of your store, while the live site runs as usual.

04
Launch and warranty

We move it to the live site and watch the first exchanges. Full 100-day warranty.

Before you order

Questions about online store integration

Answers to what people ask before ordering.

It depends on the service and the amount of data. Connecting a ready-made add-on is a few hours of setup; a custom integration with an ERP or CRM takes days. Once we have studied the service documentation, we send a free estimate in hours and dollars.

We install and configure a ready-made add-on in one or two days. An ERP or CRM exchange, testing included, usually takes one to two weeks, and a large integration built to a specification about a month. The exact timeline is in the estimate.

Setting up the exchange through the system’s standard format or a REST API, mapping statuses and fields, syncing warehouses and product variants, an error log and testing the exchange on a copy of the store.

We take care of the store side entirely. If your ERP has a custom configuration or you need to export your own fields, you will need your ERP developer, and we will agree the exchange format with them.

Whichever suits the business: orders and leads usually go instantly, while catalog, prices and stock sync on a schedule, for example every 15 minutes or every hour.

We build the integration as a separate add-on, so only that add-on needs updating. The rest of the store is not affected.

The service API documentation, test access to the service and access to a copy of the store. If there is no documentation, we will help you request it.

A full 100-day warranty: if after handover the integration does not work as agreed, we fix it free of charge.

Yes: direct payments to vendors, fiscal receipts on behalf of vendors, vendor verification by tax ID and vendor catalog uploads.

In the responsive mobile version of the site, yes, right away. For a separate app in the App Store and Google Play, the exchange is set up separately.
