Desert
A marketplace where pastry shops and home bakers sell cakes and desserts. We designed the storefront on the UniTheme2 theme: home page, catalog, cake page with weight and delivery date options, cart, vendor plans and the mobile version.

Task
The marketplace already ran on CS-Cart Multi-Vendor 4.18. The client ordered a new design on the UniTheme2 theme: a storefront for buyers and a separate entry for vendors with a choice of plan. We also did the front-end coding for the mockups.
Cakes are ordered for a specific date, and vendors work in different time zones. So buyers pick the delivery date and time on the product page and in the cart, and the catalog shows the distance to the vendor.
Home page
- The first screen is a slider with the marketplace welcome message and a button to the catalog.
- Eight catalog categories as photo tiles, from cakes and baking to Easter and discounts.
- The “Meet our chefs” block shows vendors with their logo and city.
- For vendors, the “Start selling with us” block lists six benefits of the platform and has a button to choose a plan.
- Below are customer reviews, the company story, a newsletter signup and social media links.
Customer journey

Catalog
Subcategories as pictures, filters by price, weight and filling. Hover over a product to see the vendor and the distance to them.
Cake page
Weight from 1 to 4 kg, three decoration options with prices, delivery date and time, a comment to the order.
Cart
Each item has its own delivery date and time, options for a message on the cake and gift wrapping, and a coupon in the total.
Vendor plans
Three plans: “LLC, Sole Proprietor, Self-Employed” at 1,000 RUB a month, “Independent Baker” at 600 RUB and a free trial for 10 products.
Mobile version
We designed the mobile version for a 393-pixel width: home, catalog and product page, in Russian and English.
Gift certificates
Four designs of a 1,500 RUB gift certificate: dessert photos, face value, a code field and the Desert logo.
Early concept
The mockup archive kept an early product page under the old name Bakery Bar: pink accents and the description in tabs. The final mockup uses the Desert green palette and a description without tabs.
