Design work in eCommerce is judged by whether people reach checkout, not by how the homepage looks in a portfolio. These cases are the ones where the interface was designed from scratch or reworked around real customer behaviour.
RUSHEV received a fully custom CS-Cart storefront rather than a themed template. Podguznikoff needed several city storefronts to feel like one shop while being managed centrally. Event.top had to make booking event services as simple as buying a product. Lake Lite sells technical lighting for boats and piers, where the design problem is helping a buyer compare specifications without giving up.
Each project began with the audience rather than the layout: who buys, what they compare, where they hesitate. The visual language comes after that, which is why these stores look different from each other and none of them looks like a default theme.
