A marketplace for red caviar from Russian producers, selling to companies and individual buyers. We designed the storefront from scratch: the concept, the home page, the customer journey with packing options, sign-in windows and emails. In 2025 we added a separate mobile version.

A new marketplace with no previous site. Caviar sells here by the hundreds of kilograms, to companies and to individual buyers. The design is based on the client’s brand guidelines.
We started in May 2024 with research and prototypes. Then we agreed on the color and the overall concept with the client, designed each page type and got the pages approved one by one. In the fall of 2024 we built the mockups into the UniTheme2 theme.
In 2025 the client asked for a mobile version where the caviar specs are easy to read. We designed the mobile screens separately, based on the desktop solutions, and built them into the site as well.
Hover over a screen to scroll through it, or open it full size.
Quick filter buttons above the grid: no preservatives, freshwater fish roe, dried, for frying, discounts, producer, price.
Next to the photo: catch year, shelf life, stock left and price. On the right, the producer block and nutrition facts per 100 g.
Packing under each item: the buyer picks the container and the number of jars and sees how many kilograms are already packed.
One page: buyer details, the order with the packing service, pickup or courier, card payment or a call to discuss payment.
We designed the mobile version in 2025 for a 393-pixel width: home, catalog with filters, product, cart, checkout and customer account.

Customers sign in with a phone number and an SMS code, or by email. We designed the windows in every state: empty field, number or code entered, wrong code. The order status email shows RefGo delivery with a time slot, the payment method and the packing service.
The mockup archive holds about twenty home page variants: light and dark, with a caviar photo on the first screen, with a ship and a map of Kamchatka. The yellow header and the red strip made it into the final design.
