Morerental
A marketplace for renting cars, yachts, motorcycles, vacation homes, sports gear and construction machinery. We redesigned the whole renter journey: a home page with date search, the menu, catalog, listing page, cart and checkout.

Task
The marketplace runs on CS-Cart Multi-Vendor: owners list their items, and renters choose a location, dates and times. Before the redesign we reviewed the old site: home page banners came in different styles, sections looked like a plain list, and the date picker differed between the catalog and the listing page.
Based on that review, the client ordered new mockups for the home page with the menu, catalog, listing page, cart and checkout, plus banners and section icons. We also built the mockups into the theme and moved the redesign to the live site.

Mockup
Home page
- The first screen changes by section: boats, motorcycles, cars, homes and spa, sports and outdoor gear. Under the heading, subsections are set in a script font.
- Rental search sits right on the banner: section, location, daily, hourly or monthly, dates and times.
- Eight sections as image tiles. On hover, a listing card shows the distance to the item and its owner.
- Promo blocks of equal size in a row, then top rentals, videos and current deals with a day counter.
- At the bottom: newsletter signup, social links and a dark footer with a franchise request button.

Catalog
Search by location and dates, items on a map, subsection images, filters by price, hours, number of people and insurance.
Listing page
Passport and document upload, rental dates and times, minimum period, points and an owner block.
Cart
Each item shows its owner, booking dates, uploaded documents and bonus points.
Checkout
Three steps on one page. On the right: the prepayment, the amount due on delivery and points earned.
Catalog menu
Sections on the left, subsections with icons on the right, over an image for the section. In a separate task we drew 57 category icons and two backgrounds.
Mobile version on the live site
The mockup file has no mobile screens. These are screenshots of the live site on an iPhone 13 in October 2026: home, catalog and listing page.
First screen by section
Each section got its own banner with search: motorcycles, cars, homes and spa, sports and outdoor gear.
Finding the style
Before the mockups we showed the client a mood board: a warm golden palette and vehicles in sunset light. The mockup archive keeps two early home page versions, one with 3D section icons and one with dark tiles.
